Unveiling Ceremony – Resolution Honoring the Contributions of Executive Director Kevin R. Molloy and Acknowledging “Lancaster’s gain”

The LCCCA Board honored Executive Director Kevin R. Molloy at the October 22nd Board meeting with the unanimous passing of the Resolution Honoring the Contributions of Executive Director Kevin R. Molloy and Acknowledging “Lancaster’s gain.” When the board meeting concluded, an unveiling ceremony was held in the LCCC’s Commons on Vine space to reveal a plaque containing the Resolution.

Kevin has lead the LCCCA as Executive Director for over 18 years, being instrumental in many projects, with some of the most notable being:

Overseeing the construction of, and successfully opening the Lancaster County Convention Center

3 refinances of the Authority’s HRRT Revenue Bonds

Preparing the authority to respond to a global pandemic in March 2020 that forced cancellation of hundreds of Convention Center events, thereby impacting Authority revenue, operations and finances

Working closely with LancasterHistory.Org in its lease and development of the space now known as the Stevens & Smith Center for History & Democracy

Last but certainly not least, proudly conceptualizing, planning and securing financing for the renovation of Commons on Vine, and being on-site nearly every day during its construction and renovation.

The LCCCA greatly appreciates all of Kevin’s efforts for Convention Center over the past 18 years, and we wish him well in his next chapter.
